Every 2026 Compass uses the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, rated at 200 horsepower and 221 lb-ft and paired with an eight-speed automatic. EPA estimates are 23 mpg city, 31 highway, and 26 combined on regular fuel, and when properly equipped, the Compass can tow up to 2,000 pounds.

Jeep Active Drive 4x4 is standard, and the Selec-Terrain system offers Auto, Snow, and Sand/Mud modes. The Trailhawk steps up to Jeep Active Drive Low with a 20:1 crawl ratio, adds Rock mode and Hill Descent Control, and rides 8.6 inches off the ground with up to 19 inches of water fording.

The Latitude starts with Uconnect 5 on an 8.4-inch touchscreen and a 7-inch digital cluster, and the Limited, Limited Altitude, and Trailhawk step up to a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 display. A 10.25-inch digital cluster is available, and the 10.1-inch system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Sun, Sound and Navigation Group on Limited, Limited Altitude, and Trailhawk models bundles a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, GPS navigation, and an Alpine audio system with nine speakers, an 8-inch subwoofer, and a 506-watt amplifier. It also brings Alexa Built-In and SiriusXM 360L.

Even the base Latitude includes Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus, Pedestrian/Cyclist Emergency Braking, Blind-Spot and Cross-Path Detection, the Active Lane Management System, and Drowsy Driver Detection. The ParkView rear backup camera, Advanced Brake Assist, and Rear Seat Reminder Alert are standard too.

Limited, Limited Altitude, and Trailhawk models add Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, and the Limited and Trailhawk include ParkSense rear park assist and automatic high beams. Driver Assist Group I, optional on the Limited, Limited Altitude, and Trailhawk, adds Active Driving Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition, and Jeep fits the Compass with seven airbags, including side-curtain airbags for the front and rear rows.

The Compass holds 27.2 cubic feet of cargo behind the second row and 59.8 cubic feet with the rear seats folded, with 100 cubic feet of passenger volume. Latitude models use premium cloth and vinyl seats, Limited models get heated black leatherette, and the Trailhawk pairs premium cloth with leather-trimmed accents in Black and Ruby Red.

Heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and remote start come on the Latitude, Latitude Altitude, and Limited. The Limited adds an 8-way power driver seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a foot-activated power liftgate, while the 85th Anniversary Edition brings Mayan Gold stitching and special cloth seats.

LED reflector headlamps frame the Compass's signature Jeep grille, and wheel sizes climb with the trim, from 17-inch aluminum wheels on the Latitude to 18-inch aluminum wheels on the Limited. The Limited Altitude adds Neutral Gray badging, a gloss-black grille surround, and 19-inch wheels.

The Trailhawk carries the Trail Rated badge with an off-road suspension, Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires, skid plates for the fuel tank and front suspension, and a full-size spare tire. The 85th Anniversary Edition celebrates the brand with 19-inch Steel Oxide painted wheels and Agave Blue badging, and Fathom Blue joins the color lineup for 2026.
