Advanced traction and control are provided through the Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System, which optimizes shift patterns, engine performance, and torque distribution for various surfaces with an off-road-ready Rock mode available on Trailhawk® models. The Jeep® Active Drive Low 4x4 System includes a 20:1 crawl ratio to enhance off-road capability, and Hill Descent Control automatically manages speed and braking for controlled descents. For all-weather readiness, rain-sensing windshield wipers automatically activate in moisture, a windshield wiper de-icer helps clear ice and slush, and heated exterior mirrors improve visibility and communication with other drivers.
Design
The 2026 Jeep® Compass presents a bold exterior look with a selection of exciting available exterior colors and eye-catching wheel options ranging from 17- to 19-inch designs, paired with a contemporary seven-slot grille that brings dark accents to this iconic Jeep® brand element. Its design includes brilliant LED reflector headlamps and available fog lamps for enhanced visibility, along with convenient features such as passive entry, remote vehicle start, and a foot-activated power liftgate. The available dual-pane sunroof invites natural light into the cabin. Inside, the Compass combines intuitive displays and connectivity with comfort-oriented appointments including a heated premium wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, and an available premium Alpine® audio system that uses a 12-channel, 506-watt amplifier with nine speakers and an 8-inch subwoofer to elevate the interior experience.
Technology
The 2026 Jeep® Compass integrates advanced technology designed to enhance connectivity, convenience, and driver assistance. At the center is the Uconnect® 5 system paired with an available 10.1-inch touchscreen, providing intuitive control of navigation, media, and vehicle settings, along with wireless Apple CarPlay® support and Android Auto™ compatibility for seamless smartphone integration. Available Active Driving Assist uses vehicle sensors and cameras to help maintain speed and assist with lane position, supporting a more confident driving experience. Additionally, Drowsy Driver Detection monitors driving patterns and alerts the driver when signs of fatigue are detected, contributing to everyday safety and awareness. Structural safety is enhanced by a high-strength steel body and a suite of advanced airbags to protect occupants.
