All six trims run on regular 87-octane unleaded.

Together, a turbocharged 1.6-liter four and the two motor-generators in the electronic variable transmission yield 210 horsepower and 230 lb-ft on every trim. Cherokee through Overland trims use Active Drive I, which is single-speed and fully automatic: it cruises in 4x2 and engages the rear axle by itself as conditions require. For the Trailhawk, Jeep fits Active Drive II with the two-speed power transfer unit.

Screen sizes hold steady across the 2027 Jeep Cherokee lineup: 10.25 inches for the digital cluster behind the wheel and 12.3 inches for the Uconnect 5 touchscreen on the dash. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto link up wirelessly on the Cherokee through Overland.

Factory navigation and premium sound come standard with the Overland: Uconnect 5 Nav, built on TomTom maps, plus HD Radio, Integrated Voice Command and Alpine's 9-speaker audio system with a subwoofer. Upright, squared-off lines give the 2027 Jeep Cherokee its look, joined by a seven-slot grille and jerrican-inspired taillights.
